SB139 would help fund a group called Colorado Unwanted Horse Alliance which by informed accounts supports/advocates for horse slaughter operations to be reopened in the US. That is not acceptable use of taxpayer funding. Instead, the govt should fund horse rescue groups like Front Range Equine Rescue instead, which rescues and finds new homes for healthy horses. Please oppose this bill SB139 that passes for horse protection.
