Go here for a copy of this bill which is currently in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives Committee on Agriculture. The bill would ban the use of carbon monoxide systems to kill animals and also firearms except in cases of dogs that are running loose, on someone else's property or present a "clear" danger to staff or other animals in a shelter or kennel.

killing dogs
Why would anyone kill a dog or cat, especially in these types of condition???? These poor animals did not ask for this life, nor do they deserve it. Why isn't there more time and money spent of spay or neutering animals to prevent these problems. I know the cost of fixing animals is EXPENSIVE, but there are ways and places that help. I have 5 dogs and i would take everyone one of them if i could. If you contact ORCA in your area there are low cost tickets you can get to help fix your animals to stop this overpopulation of these poor defendless animals, threw no fault of their own. AND ANYONE WHO MURDERS POOR ANIMALS, SHOULD BE PUT IN THESE CHAMBERS AND HAVE THE SAME THING DONE TO THEM.....
Even if the vets would help with cost of fixing these animals and take the cost off of their taxes as a donation for their services, then it would help so many of these poor animals. This article made me mad and made me cry for these poor animals.
