What is the United States coming to? Hitler was killed for discriminating against a certain race. Now it's ok to discrimanite against a breed of dog. We currently own two Pit Bulls and have owned others throughout the years. In our town of Saint Joseph Missouri they have passed a ordinance No. 2210 stating in section 5-148 that there are redemption and requirements of certain breeds. The breeds are American Staffordshire Terrier, American Pit Bull Terrier, Pit Bull Terrier or Rottweiler or any dog mixed with one of these breeds if impounded. This would be a fair law if only every animal that was impounded was required to be neutered before redemption was allowed. I understand the need for control of overpopulation of animals but this needs to be done in a civil and just way. If this country doesn't open their eyes and see the harm they are doing Pit bulls will be extinct in the United States of American. That would be a horrific crime of mass destruction. Racism is against the law lets extend that law to cover animals.
